On Wednesday from 7:30-9:00pm, head on over to Ohio City Stages block party at Transformer Station featuring Los Cojolites!

Having shared the stage with artists like Eugenia León, La Maldita Vecindad, Panteón Rococó, Lila Downs, Susana Baca, Zack de la Rocha, Ozomatli among many others, Los Cojolites is sure to captivate you! Straight from Jáltipan, Veracruz, Mexico, their sound brings together a unique synthesis of styles:

“The influence of Arabic and Flamenco music, mixed with the various afro rhythms and indian celebrations in Veracruz, gave identity in this mestizaje (mixture), to the Son Jarocho, a musical genre that identifies the region, for more than three hundred years.”
